Home Concerts for Hope

The ALS Hope Foundation is pleased to present the “Home Concerts for Hope!”
in collaboration with Phénix Opera. These concerts will be viewed on the ALS Hope
Foundation Facebook platform and features American Composers (August 21-23), Jazz
and Gershwin (Sept 18-20), and Opera Classics (October 23- 25).

During the first concert in the series, two vignettes will be posted each day from
August 21-23rd that showcase musical talents from across the country. This premiere
weekend focuses on American composers, and will feature the works of Michael
Orlinsky and Cyril Deaconoff, two San Francisco Bay Area composers. We will also
feature a performance of “Lucinda Matlock” by Stephen Senderoff, a scientist and
composer who lived with ALS and was an advocate for ALS and the ALS Hope
Foundation composing many pieces highlighted in previous concerts. We are honored
to share his work.

Tune in to our Facebook page to watch these concerts as they release! If you
would like to support the work of the ALS Hope Foundation and our future concerts,
please donate at https://www.alshf.org/donate or text “ALS” to 24365.
