The ALS Hope Foundation and the Veteran ALS Action Committee will be offering a special educational opportunity, the ALS Clinical Research Learning Institute (CRLI®), on May 2-3, 2025. The CRLI is an intensive 2 day program dedicated to educating attendees on the clinical research process, therapy development, the treatment landscape and advocacy in order to empower this group to be advocates for ALS clinical research. This program was conceived by Dr. Richard Bedlack through collaboration with the Northeast ALS (NEALS) Consortium and the ALS Hope Foundation has hosted 6 local or virtual CRLIs in the past.
Veterans living with ALS along with their caregivers are invited to participate in this program and graduate as "Research Ambassadors" and ALS advocates. Becoming a Research Ambassador provides opportunities for people impacted by ALS to work in partnership with the Science and Drug Development Community in finding treatments and cures for ALS.
