A Message of Holiday Hope from the Dayton Family

"As we begin the Holiday Season of Hope, we are reminded how blessed we are. In August 2010, we first met Dr. Heiman-Patterson and the MDA/ALS Center of Hope clinic team and experienced their treatment of ALS patients and their families. Their multidisciplinary approach to patients and families is something special. We continue our hope that this year a cure is found for ALS. We are thankful to the dedicated ALS Hope Foundation staff researching ALS causes and a cure. We are hopeful that we will find new treatments to manage symptoms and help patients find ways to manage their fears and concerns.

MDA's assistance for our needs has been wonderful. Last year when we visited our daughter's family, they were great at providing West Coast contacts for medical equipment and travel suggestions, and our local loaner closest is a blessing. We are very blessed with support from our families.

During our 5 years, we've had many challenges. We are thankful to be on this journey with MDA/ALS Center of Hope and the ALS Hope Foundation. They provide the hope PALS need when the many challenges arise.
