Abington Township PD ALS Fundraiser
In honor and memory of Bryan Rickards, Bob Hill Sr., and James Staerk, our APD family has made efforts to raise awareness for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) research and treatment. After feeling the immeasurable losses associated with ALS, one of the few things we can do to continue devoting our love for them is to continue these efforts.
One way we have found to do this is to partner with the ALS Hope Foundation and The Emblem Authority to create an Abington Police ALS patch. Jamey Piggott, Director of Development and Community Outreach for the ALS Hope Foundation has graciously offered his assistance to maximize our fundraising efforts.
ALL proceeds from the patches go to the ALS Hope Foundation. Additionally, the proceeds will be specifically designated to the Hope Foundation’s care of fellow police officers who are currently fighting ALS.
A donation of $10 is requested for a patch, if you contribute more than $10 please indicate in the comments how many patches you would like to receive. Your billing address will be used for shipping of the patches.
